Each week focuses on a slightly different area of the body, but the beauty of ELDOA is that it works globally through the fascial system.
For example, we may focus on the pelvis one week, yet people often feel release all the way through their neck and upper body. Releasing not only the pelvis and hips but relieving neck tension and headaches also.
What’s super cool about facia is that it not only releases your body but you will release some stuck emotions also. Emotions and pain are stored in the facia and if you’re feeling like you just can’t move through something, ELDOA and myofascial release can help you to process and move again, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Cool hey?
Another super cool party trick of ELDOA is that every single organ is connected to fascia and a different segment of the spine. So when we do our ELDOA poses to create space in the spine and release the fascia, we are also giving our organs a big boost of chi, energy flow. This is why you feel so elated after the sessions, because everything is working better. It’s magic
What does it feel like?
The postures can feel challenging in the moment, but the release afterwards is incredible and you only hold the poses for 1 minute.
Many people feel a wave of relaxation and energy afterwards as the nervous system resets and endorphins are released.
It’s a feeling that’s quite unique to this type of work.
Does ELDOA Build Muscle Tone?
Yes, it actually does.
Even though the positions look like stretches, they’re quite different.
ELDOA postures decompress joints by placing the fascia in a fully lengthened position.
When a muscle is held in this lengthened position, it is actually actively contracting.
This creates tone through the body, particularly in the postural muscles that support the spine. So the next day you will feel delightfully sore in places that you’ve probably not trained before!
While it may look like stretching , your body is doing much more work than you think.

How the 8 Week Series works
Each week includes:
- 1 Live ELDOA class with Hayley
45–50 minutes of guided myofascial stretching and decompression to allow your body, joints, muscle and fascia to release and open
- A short home session each week
A simple 15-minute practice to support the release of your joints between classes.
- Online support for questions about your posture, pain, muscles or fascia in between classes.
